PAFA SPIRIT CHEERLEADING

Interested in the sport of Cheer? PAFA Spirit is a feeder program for our local high schools! Our squads consist of athletes in grades 1st through 8th. We offer Mini Cheer (1st - 2nd grade) and Sideline Cheer (3rd - 8th) for the football season. Gain skills in performing, jumps, stunts, and cheer technique! We cheer at football games on weekends in support of the PAFA Panthers travel program. Our season begins in late July (evenings). Enrolling in tumbling classes is also highly encouraged.

REGISTRATION

Registration for the 2026 season begins April 1st and closes May 25th. Registration fee includes a PAFA Spirit t-shirt. Anyone registering prior to April 15 will receive a $10 discount on the registration fee. Siblings receive a $25 discount.

MINI CHEERLEADING (1st - 2nd grade) Min/Max: 8/24

In this intro to cheer, participants learn cheers, jumps, motions and even a little stunting! Cheerleaders will cheer at PAFA Football games (Session 1: minimum 1 game, Session 2: minimum 2 games) when possible.

Session 1: Wed 8/13 - 9/3 (5:45-6:45pm)

Session 2: Wed 9/10 - 10/8 (5:45-6:45pm)

SIDELINE CHEER (3rd - 8th grade)

Practice 3 nights/week (beginning July 21) until school starts, then 1 night/week through October. We will cheer at playoff and championship games the first few weeks of November, if played.

Sideline cheerleaders will be provided uniforms which will be sized and distributed before school starts.
